The Grayson County Health Department believes in the power of Art Therapy. In 2020 during COVID-19 lock downs, GCHD requested that children throughout our community mail in artwork to be displayed in our clinic. We received several pieces of children's artwork in the mail--and from our local school system. The artwork not only added beauty to the health department, but also helped children and families feel connected to GCHD.

Given the success of this endeavor, GCHD implemented Art the Health Department--a program which allows children throughout Grayson County to donate artwork and have it displayed for everyone to see. Each year we select a different theme. The 2023 theme is "Places in Grayson County".

Your child can donate his or her artwork to be displayed.

Each work of art should be on a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet. Items can be mailed to the department at 124 E. White Oak Street Leitchfield, KY 42754.
